About Us
Cherai beach is located in Vypin island, Kochi, Kerala; just 25 Kilometers from Kochi International Airport and 20 Km from Aluva Railway station.
Cherai Beach invites peace and beauty; the ‘Princess of Arabian sea’. The 15 km long golden beach is clean and shallow; attracts swimming and sunbathing. Dolphins are frequently sighted. It is one of the few places where one can experience the lagoon (poyil) and ocean separated only by a few hundred metres. The ‘Break-water point’, located to the north of the beach, where Periyar river meets the Arabian Sea, is a scene of sheer beauty.
